Yorktown Boys' Tennis Heads to Regionals 9 May 2010
Yorktown High School Boys' Tennis
finished the season with a 12-2 record and earned a berth in the Regional
tournament starting May 17 at Lake Braddock.
The Patriots, undefeated against
every team in the district except Stuart, clinched second place in the National
District last week with an 8-1 win over rival Washington-Lee on May 4 and an 8-0
victory over Wakefield on May 3.

holds a commanding 11-2 record in National District play this season, on the
heels of recent wins over Wakefield, Edison, Falls Church,
Hayfield and Mt.
Vernon high schools. The

The Yorktown High School Boys' Tennis team swept Falls Church 9-0 in their rematch on April 19, pushing the Patriots' National District record to 7-2.The team won all of their singles and doubles matches to yield a team score of 9-0.
