The best women basketball players from Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties met Sunday at Oakton high school in the fifth annual Suburban Classic All-Star game.

The first game matched the Concorde and Patriot Districts All-Stars from the Northern Region against the Prince William County All-Stars from the Northwest Region. University of Virginia-bound guard Ariana Moorer from Hylton High School earned team MVP after leading the Northwest All-Stars in scoring with 18 points en route to a 79-60 victory. Westfield senior Amanda O’Neil scored 13 points to garner MVP honors for the Northern Region squad.

The second game saw all-stars from the National and Liberty Districts square off against all-stars from Loudoun County. The inside game of Madison senior Marygrace Jay and W.T. Woodson senior Sara Schoof proved to be too much as the stars from the Northern Region prevailed, 67-54. Warhawks’ senior Katie Wimmer scored 14 point to earn team MVP honors for the Northern Region All-Stars, and Alexis Campbell took similar honors for the Loudoun standouts after leading the team with 12 points.
